Solène porte La Parisienne d’Yves Saint Laurent

J’ai grandi dans une maison où les parfums trop forts étaient bannis parce que ma maman ne les supporte pas. Du coup, pendant longtemps, j’ai porté Pink de Lacoste, un parfum relativement frais et léger. J’aime le porter l’été, mais je le trouve moins approprié en hiver : il fait parfum d’adolescente, un peu banal, en tous cas pas difficile du tout à assumer. Quand j’ai découvert La Parisienne il y a environ un an, j’ai trouvé que son équilibre me correspondait mieux. Il n’est pas trop fort, mais il a plus de personnalité que Pink et il est plus sensuel : c’est un vrai parfum de femme que je me suis approprié à un moment où j’en devenais une moi-même. Et puis c’est rigolo de porter un parfum qui s’appelle La Parisiene quand on vit la moitié de l’année à l’autre bout du monde : ça me rappelle ma vie en France !

I grew up in a home where opulent perfumes were forbidden because my mom cannot stand them. Which is why I wore Pink by Lacoste for a long time, a rather fresh and light perfume. I like to wear it in the summer, but I find it less appropriate for the winter : it smells like a perfume for teenagers, rather plain, too easy to enjoy. When I discovered La Parisienne about a year ago, I thought it suited me better. It isn’t too strong but it has more character than Pink and it is more sensual : it really is a woman’s perfume which I stared wearing when I, myself, became one. And I think it is fun to be wearing a fragrance called La Parisienne when living on the other side of the world half of the year : it reminds me of my life in France !
