The brand has been around since 1926 : at Harry Lehman, it is now the founder’s grandson, a perfumer too, who makes the juices. Like precious elixirs, they sit in large flasks on shelfs in the shop, a timeless adress in the Charlottenburg neighborhood. Customers come to buy L’Avion, Bahia, Eau de Berlin and a few dozens references : on demand, perfumes are bottled, sometimes blended to their own taste, in bottles from 15 to 500ml.
From one flask to another, prices vary but remain rather inexpensive: between 4,50 and 6€ per 10ml, plus one or two euros for the glass bottle.
Despite a barely warm reception (probably due to the fact that I can’t speak German), I found quite a few beautiful fragrances, like the delicious Lambada, which I haven’t stopped wearing since my visit.
