UPDATE, 22 APRIL 2013: A reader tells me Maison 24 Saporta no longer exists 😦
Maison 24 Saporta was launched about ten years ago by Jozef de Smedt, a lover of raw materials and essential oils, with a selection of organic and local products. It was a slow process, supported by customers themselves, that turned it into a place where niche perfume lovers meet.
The boutique, now run by the founder’s son, displays a extensive selection of more or less confidential brands, and most importantly the wise advice of a passionate saleswoman who knows how to take her customers on a journey through the shelves of precious bottles: Lubin, Histoires de Parfum, Parfum d’Empire, Acqua di Parma, Miller Harris, Byredo, Penhaglion’s, Evody, Atelier Cologne, Rigaud, Annick Goutal, Dyptique, Creed, Serge Lutens, Frédéric Malle, Frapin.
In the back of the store, candles by Frederic Malle stand next to those by Cire Trudon, Byredo, products by Ladurée Beauté and Le Bel Aujourd’hui.
